Data Deletion & Removal

This page explains how to delete your data from Vynex (operated by Vynex Agency) and how to revoke our access to your WhatsApp Business Account and other Meta data. You can remove data yourself in the app, or send us a request and we will process it for you.

Option 1 — Delete it yourself in the app

  • Disconnect WhatsApp: go to Settings → WhatsApp and choose Reset / Disconnect. This immediately removes your stored WhatsApp access token and configuration and revokes our ability to send or receive messages on your behalf.
  • Delete individual records: contacts, conversations, broadcasts, and other records can be deleted from their respective screens in the app.
  • Close your account: from Settings → Account, request account deletion to remove your workspace and all associated data.

Option 2 — Revoke access from Meta

You can also remove our app’s access from Meta’s side at any time:

  • In Meta Business Settings → Business Assets / Apps, remove Vynex from your WhatsApp Business Account, or
  • In Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Business Integrations, remove Vynex.

When you revoke access, Meta notifies us and we delete the associated tokens and WhatsApp configuration for that connection.

Option 3 — Send us a deletion request

If you prefer, email privacy@vynexagency.com from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line “Data Deletion Request.” Please include:

  • Your account email and workspace / business name.
  • The WhatsApp phone number(s) or WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) you want disconnected, if applicable.
  • Whether you want partial deletion or full account removal.

We verify the request comes from the account owner and complete deletion within 30 days, then confirm by email. Some data may be retained for a limited period where required by law (for example, tax or security records), after which it is deleted or anonymized.

What gets deleted

  • Encrypted WhatsApp access tokens and connection configuration.
  • Contacts, conversations, messages, media references, broadcasts, and automation data for the affected account.
  • Account profile and workspace data (for full account removal).

Automated deletion callback

For Meta App Review purposes, Vynex honors Meta’s deauthorize and data-deletion callbacks. When a user removes our app or Meta sends a data-deletion request for a user, we automatically delete that user’s associated data and stop processing it.
